Matthew G. Smith, MD
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Smith is proud to call St. Pete his home for more than 25 years now. The sun, the water… it is like being on vacation here. He graduated from Saint Ignatius High School and then earned a B.S. in biology with a concentration in psychology from John Carroll University where he graduated early.
He enrolled in The Ohio State University College of Medicine where he received his Doctor of Medicine and performed his medical clerkships at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
After graduating medical school, he relocated to Saint Petersburg to complete his residency at Bayfront Medical Center.
Dr. Smith has been in private practice for more than 20 years and is affiliated with both Palms of Pasadena Hospital and St Anthony’s BayCare where he visits patients daily.
Jennifer Coleman, APRN
Jennifer Coleman earned a B.S.N from Florida State University. She was valedictorian of her class, graduating with a Masters of Skilled Nursing with a concentraion in family practice from the University of Tampa. She was presented with the Academic Award of Excellence from the President of the University of Tampa and the Dean of Nursing. She is a nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Formerly a nurse at Saint Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, Ms. Coleman worked in the pediatric intensive care unit, pediatric cardiac surgical unit, and neonatal intensive care unit. She was also a team leader and performed quality assurance services and computer education while employed in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Shriner’s Hospital For Children.
